If you do the fasting weekly one day but the rest of the week, you eat junk food, what will happen to your body? You are not eating healthy stuff most of the days, so it does not nourish your body, as a result you will be overweight. The same goes to the mind, you decided to use mobile for one hour per day but in that one-hour, what type of information you feed into your mind? If you feed negative, violence, bad news, then its going to affect you. So, we need to be very aware of what type of information are we consuming? We need to take care of our mind and soul. Most of us have the habits of reading email or message before we go to bed and our mind get stimulus, so it keeps working even the body sleeps. That’s why we feel still sleepy early in the morning and we can’t wake up on time. Sleeping is the time to charge our battery, which is our mind. Calm your mind before you go bed by meditation or reading spiritual learning. Media, newspaper have their duties to share the information what’s going around the world and we need to get updated with the latest news. But morning and night time are so crucial, so we should avoid reading news during that time. Day time would be perfect. If we want to get least affected from the news then it is good to read the news rather than watching because when we watch we use most of our senses, such as eyes, ears and we feel it. Once we watch the violence or bad news we can’t delete from our memory. For e.g. once you drink the water, you can’t filter it, you have to filter before you drink the water, the same applies with the information. Feed your mind with the good information, which will nourish. When we talk or share the bad news, literally we are spreading negative vibes to the world, instead we can send the prayers, which is in our control. Since COVID is spreading all over the world, lets take care of ourselves, our families and send the blessings to those families who are affected.
