Nourish and nurture your Mind
Our mind and body are the most valuable assets of our life, so how many of you take the time to nourish and nurture your mind?
We are so occupied that we don’t have the time to care for our minds. It is our moral responsibility to take out the time. Our mind can’t work with getting charged with good thoughts.
I will share a few tips on how we can nurture and nourish our minds.
1. Feed your mind with a good diet:- We need to eat healthy food to remain healthy, same goes with the reason. We are what we read, listen to, and watch. If we constantly observe negative news, we are feeding our mind with junk food to our mind, which depletes the soul power. Most of us have the habit of reading the newspaper or checking social media early in the morning, which has to replace by self-help books or spiritual learning. Morning and evening times are crucial, and you have to be invested in positive things to have a good day. We all of us ensure to charge our mobile before we leave home, in the same way, we need to change our mind with positive thoughts to tackle our day. Energy flows where the attention goes, so pay attention to where you focus.
2. Practice Meditation:- Meditation is a must in this chaotic world. This is a powerful tool to train our brains. We have a monkey mind which goes here and there. There are many benefits of meditation, developmental awareness, and bringing peace and calmness. It also prevents stress and anxiety. Most of us think it’s hard to do meditation, but actually, it’s not. Anyone can start with five minutes a day by sitting comfortably in a quiet place, closing their eyes, deep inhaling through the nose, and exhaling through the mouth. Do consistently to see the results.
3. Limit Social media use:- Excessive use of social media has a negative impact, mainly if it’s not used according to its benefits. If you are using excessively and feel sad, frustrated, or disturbed, it’s time to examine online habits and replace them with good ones. Use social media to gain something. For example, learning or promoting your business or connecting with a closed one. Don’t allow the negative aspects to impact you; set the boundaries.
4. Associate with positive people: - Jim Rohn said, “You are the average of five people you spend the most time with.” Surround yourself with those who push you, cheer for you, challenge you, and love you. Surround yourself with the dreamers and doers, the believers and thinkers, but most of all, surround yourself with those who see the greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself.
